Baby Quilt

Remember this fabric I had for my next project?

I finished this quilt top today and love it! It's perfect for a crib or toddler bed. What do you think?

December 23

The flu hit our household this week- my two girls and I had it.  I'm still recuperating but am trying to get a few projects done before I have my surgery consult on the 7th.  I'll be having carpel tunnel surgery and will have severe withdrawal from quilting during my recovery!

But in the meantime I've finished a few pillowcases and a fleece blanket.  Today I am working on this silver, blue and cream tablerunner.  I love the shimmer of these fabrics!

Changes to the Blog!

I've decided to change this blog to my (Vicki's) crafting blog since I post more of my stuff than the shop's stuff.

I am a mom to three kiddos - ages 8, 6, and almost 3.  I also do bookkeeping from home so I stay extremely busy!  But now that my kids are older I've started sewing and crafting again and always make sure to find time for this love of mine.

I love making quilts.  My grandma taught me when I was around 19.  My husband and I would spend every weekend and any days off college at my grandparent's house making quilts ALL day long!  She taught me almost everything I know.  My mom has followed in her footsteps and opened A Winning Quilt Shop in 2013.  She's taught me many things as well.

I also make pillowcases, hairbows, tablerunners, banners/buntings, infinity scarves, ornaments, fleece blankets, baby blankets, and anything else I can think of!  I sell my stuff in a local boutique, Enchanted Moments Boutique and am trying to build it up a little.  My mom and I decided we're going to start doing some craft shows too.

So, be watching for more consistent updates.  For now, here's the quilt I finished yesterday that is being sent to the shop this weekend for quilting.

Keep Sewing Along!
Vicki
