I haven't posted in forever but I've been busy! I learned that posting on my local Buy, Sell, Trade pages on Facebook gets me lots of requests for custom orders! I've been working on t-shirt quilts (2 of them), quilts made from a deceased mom's fabric (5 of them!), quilts from a mom's shirts (3 of them), a custom order for a college dorm, and some projects I just want to do for fun. Plus my quilt along that I'm behind on! Here's what I've finished over the past two months since I've posted last.
Got some pieces of alphabet fabric so I cut the letters out and used them to make a couple baby quilts. I did this one in order but also made one more with no order that I actually liked better.
Had some leftover strips of this fabric that I love so I threw together a little baby quilt that sold and shipped to Brooklyn, NY!
Have done a few more flannel and cotton baby blankets.
This is a quilt I made a long time ago, I think maybe my third quilt ever back when I was in college, that was at my Gram's to be binded (before I knew how to bind.) When my Gram passed this was in a tub that ended up at my mom's house that I found a few weeks ago when I was there.
This is one of three throws I made for a lady whose mom had passed away recently and instead of taking all of her clothes to Goodwill she had these made for her and her two brothers. One is complete and the other two are still getting quilted.
Leftovers of the Moda Persimmon jelly roll that I loved! Still going to make another one of these with the yellows and corals that I have left. I like how it turned out and can't wait to see it quilted.
Little Halloween banner I threw a border on. Cuteness!
My sister in law claimed this fabric the minute she saw it for her first baby girl due in a few weeks. Pattern is Key to My Heart and the jelly roll I found at JoAnn's. I don't typically like their fabric much but this roll was gorgeous so I couldn't pass it up!
This was Lesson 2 of the Quilt Along I'm doing. I think we're up to 8 now so I've got some catching up to do!
This is one of two t-shirt quilts I'm doing for a lady for Christmas gifts for her two kids. It turned out really good and I can't wait to get it quilted and finished up.
This was the Yummy pattern I was doing with the Moda Persimmon jelly roll. My aunt has claimed this one so as soon as I get it back from quilting that's where it will be headed.
